England's greatest Elizabethan House, the park is open to the public from dawn until dusk - admission to the grounds is free. The house itself and gardens are open from mid March until late October.

Walking, cycling, fishing, sailing and watersports are all available at one of Europe's largest man made lakes. Walk or or cycle the 25 mile circular trail around the reservoir, cafes and restaurants are located all around the water.

Stamford is the UK's prettiest Georgian town. The weekly market takes place on a Friday with a farmer's market adding to that every fortnight. The town also boasts a cinema, arts centre and theatre.

Plenty of pretty market towns are very close by to the Farmhouse and Cottages. Markets and food festivals are plentiful in the area.
