“Such a lovely place for a get together”

We rented the whole house to celebrate a golden wedding and it suited us perfectly.  The location is great - you feel you are in the middle of nowhere but you are close to shops, etc which means you have the best of both worlds.  The kitchen is well equipped and made it easy catering for a crowd.  The garden is spacious and plenty of space for teens and tots to let off steam.  We will definitely return.

We hired Borderville Farmhouse for my sisters Hen Do, a Fri-Sun 2 night stay, for 12 guests. On arrival Jo and Carl were so friendly and hospitable, they put us immediately at ease. The house was immaculate and is even bigger than it looks in the pictures! The hot tub is located just outside of the back door, and with the pretty fairy lights makes for the perfect evening chill spot. The beds were all comfortable and bedrooms all large, light and bright. The catering facilities are ideal for that size group, with a large dining room and separate lounge. The house is set back from the road and has wonderful views out over the fields. It was a 25 minute walk into the centre of Stamford so very convenient. I would definitely recommend to large groups getting together. Thank you so much :)

The house is absolutely wonderful! Jo and Carl were fantastic hosts - they responded to all of my (many) queries prior to our visit and were especially accommodating for our large group, including three 2 year olds. The house has plenty of space, beautiful grounds, is lovely and clean and has everything you could need! Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a special family occasion over a long weekend and it suited us perfectly. We found the accommodation beautifully decorated and very spacious with relaxing grounds and a broad range of amenities. The hosts Carl and Jo were very welcoming and flexible to our needs. We highly recommend this property.

What a great long weekend away celebrating a special 50th in this beautiful farm house a short distance from Stamford.  We chose Stamford Farm house as the location was great for everyone travelling from different parts of the country, the gardens were large - ideal for evening games and the hot tub was what was needed at the end of a busy day.  This place really did have all we wanted. When we arrived Jo showed us round the house, it was larger than we expected and so much better than booking individual hotel rooms.  The majority of the rooms aren’t en-suite but being a large family group, we couldn’t care less. We had an awesome time and will certainly  be returning for another ‘special’ Birthday  in the future.  It will be interesting to be there in the winter rather than spring and  are already planning to get caterers in for a celebratory meal in the delightful dining room. Thank you Jo  - I really think you’ve thought of everything and will be recommending you to anyone I know who is looking for a great place for a family / friend get-together.

We stayed at Stamford Farm House for two nights for my sisters 40th, fourteen family and friends, a mix of ages. The house was fantastic, jo met us on arrival, very relaxed and friendly. You go through the electric gates and get the wow factor, my sister was over the moon. The rooms are great and all slightly individual, bathrooms are large and plush!  The sun was shining and we spent most the time in the gardens and the hot tub (lovely touch)!  My only comment would be to get some more garden lounges but otherwise tip top!! A definite recommendation and another family gathering we will be booking.
